Account Deletion & Privacy Choices

1. Delete your account in the app

1. Sign in to BorrowHive.
2. Open Profile.
3. Open Account Settings.
4. Select Delete Account and complete the confirmation flow.

The app currently provides the fastest way to request deletion because it verifies that you control the account before the request is processed.

2. Delete your account outside the app

If you cannot sign in, email privacy@borrowhive.com from the email address associated with your BorrowHive account and use the subject line Delete BorrowHive Account.

We may request enough information to verify account ownership before acting on the request.

3. What deletion removes

• Profile information and account access associated with your BorrowHive account.
• Push-notification tokens and routine user content that is eligible for deletion.
• Operational access to your account across BorrowHive app surfaces.

4. What BorrowHive may retain

• Records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, chargebacks, and legal compliance.
• Limited transaction and audit records needed to enforce platform safety and financial obligations.
• Backups and security logs that expire under routine retention schedules.

5. Other privacy choices

• Request an export of your account data by emailing privacy@borrowhive.com.
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those emails.
• Manage push, email, and SMS preferences from Account Settings where available.
